WANNARIDE is an events promotion group, a mountain bike tour company, and a trail information website all rolled into one. The company is owned, operated, and cared for by people who love to ride!

We are looking for enthusiastic cyclists to help our website grow. With input from you, the mountain bike community, there will be a place to come find out about upcoming events, a cool new trail, a ride that's about to happen, or a link to other cycling sites.

This website will always be changing and expanding, so keep an eye out for new items….

In Febuary 2007 we took a team of keen mountain bikers across the pond to go check out some of the trails around Rotorua on the North island of New Zealand. What we found blew us away! Hidden amoungst the red woods of Whakarewarewa Forest was the best network of trails we had ever
seen...anywhere.

The map to the right will always be a work in progress. Click on an area of Australia or New Zealand that you would like to go ride and find information about local trails. Some of the trails may come with detailed maps, GPS coordinates, and directions. Others with directions to the trail head and a few notes about “left at the big tree next to the small rock that’s next to the creek crossing”, and some may only be vague clues about a trail that a friend of a friend heard about. It’s basically up to you…

By clicking on the ADD A RIDE tab below you will be directed to an area of the website where you can add information about your local trail or a trail that you have ridden before and want to share with others.

Please add as much detail and information you have about the trail, directions to get there, and maybe a good place to get a cold drink after a ride. We will do our best to get the information that you provide up on the website as accurately and as quickly as possible so that the mtb community can have it at their fingertips.

Thanks for visiting and we hope to see you out the trail…
